Spelling bees organized worldwide are a common phenomenon at both regional and national levels in various countries. A Spelling Bee is essentially a spelling competition amongst school children and is organized at school level. Winners then participate in a Regional/ National inter-school spelling contest.

 

 

Spelling Bee aims to expand children's horizons beyond the classroom and enhance their process of learning. The contest is designed to help students improve in their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn new concepts and develop the correct usage of the English language.

 

The most thrilling Spelling Bee Contest held in Main Campus on 27 th February, 2010 left the audiences amazed. Over 20 students participated in Secondary Section, in an extremely competitive and engaging contest. The competition was viewed students as well as teachers. Successful students awarded with different prizes.

Mr.Somsuthi Suedthiphon from Secondary-3 got the first position,

Ms.Inthiraneth Phonekeo from Secondary-3 got the second position,

Mr.Big Boss Keosavang from Secondary-2 got the third position.
